Death is the arcana of an ending that clears a space: the old thing is finished, and what follows wears the same face. In this deck that ending is a bath. A week of carefully assembled smell leaves down the drain in four minutes, and the same beloved animal comes out lighter, cleaner, and openly in mourning. In the other deck it goes one tuft at a time, and it lands on the sofa.
Reversed
Reversed, the shedding happens out of sight. The ending turns inward: something quietly finished, with no ceremony around it and no before and after to photograph. Your companion is done with something and has not brought it up. Not every fresh start needs a witness, and this one would rather not have one.
Reversed is not bad news here. It is the same energy turned inward instead of outward.
