Upright

The Empress is abundance and care made into a person, the one who keeps a place soft enough for things to grow in it. Here the throne is a cushion and the ritual is kneading: paws working a blanket into shape, a body arriving on the exact square of sofa you were lowering yourself onto. The comfort does spread outward, which is the generous part. You can have the other end.

Reversed

Reversed, the abundance folds inward. Rather than spilling over the household, the softness is kept close: a cushion occupied alone, kneading done for their own comfort and not as an invitation. That is care aimed at themselves, which counts. Leave the blanket where it is, wrinkled the way it is, and let them fill it back up in their own time.

Reversed is not bad news here. It is the same energy turned inward instead of outward.

In the dog deck

Today the coziest corner of the house feels like the throne of a kingdom. Love flows easily in both directions—giving and receiving feel the same.

Try today Fluff their favorite spot in the sun and settle in beside them.

In the cat deck

The Kneading Goddess

Paws press a soft rhythm into the blanket, over and over, like dough taking shape under patient hands. Today that same warmth spreads outward, wrapping everyone nearby in quiet abundance.

Try today Lay out the softest blanket you have and simply watch when the kneading begins.

This is tarot for fun. We rewrote the Major Arcana for dog life; it predicts and advises nothing. Nothing here relates to health or behaviour decisions.
