Where is my photo sent?
Nowhere. The recognition model runs inside your own browser, so the photo never leaves your device. Close the tab and both the photo and the result are gone.
Why is the first reading slow?
The recognition model is downloaded the first time. After that it is served from your browser cache and runs immediately.
What kind of photo gives the best reading?
A front-on shot showing the face and body. Dark photos, distant dogs, group shots, clothing and recent grooming all muddy the reading.
Can it read cats or other animals?
No. If the photo is not a dog it says so. This reader is for dogs only.
How are the face reading and MBTI on the front page decided?
The face reading sorts the impression of the photo into eight types of our own invention; the MBTI comes from your answers to twelve questions. Both are just-for-fun classifications with no claimed scientific basis, and photos are never uploaded there either.
Why doesn’t the face reading show a breed?
Because it is a reading of the face’s vibe. What we read from the face is an impression, not a pedigree — so no breed names are attached.
How is the daily dog tarot card chosen?
From a deck of the 22 Major Arcana that we rewrote as scenes from dog life, one card is picked from the date and a value stored on this device. The same day gives the same card, and it changes at midnight. It predicts and advises nothing — it is for fun, and unrelated to health or behaviour decisions.
