The Hierophant keeps tradition, the card of what gets handed down and repeated because the repeating itself carries the meaning. Our version puts the rite on the floor. The same small request answered the same way, paws before face and never once the other order, dinner expected at the minute it has always been expected. It is less about rules than about belonging. The house runs on a schedule, and you did not write it.

Reversed

Reversed, the ritual goes private. The familiar order is still kept, just no longer performed for anyone: the routine run through in a corner, the washing done facing the wall. Tradition held for its own comfort rather than for the room. Let it happen today with no applause and no audience, and notice how much of it your pet keeps entirely for themselves.

Reversed is not bad news here. It is the same energy turned inward instead of outward.
