Traditionally the Fool is the figure stepping off the edge with nothing but faith and a light bundle: the card of a beginning taken before the plan exists. Here the leap has a nose on it. A doorway gets considered, then abandoned for a smell arriving from the opposite direction, and a cat commits fully to a box one size too small. The route you had in mind lasted four steps.

Reversed

Reversed, the same first step happens on the inside. The curiosity has gone nowhere, it simply stays close to home for now: the doorway sniffed and not crossed, the new box studied from the side for eleven minutes. Nothing is lost in that. Your pet is beginning something private today, and the outward leap can wait until it feels like theirs.

Reversed is not bad news here. It is the same energy turned inward instead of outward.
